Snow. No work, boss says so. Tragic.
I have braved the elements however, fought through the blizzards for minutes and stumbled hundreds of yards through the snow choked streets and my valiant efforts were rewarded as tesco express was open and the glory of oak smoked bacon was mine. Bravely I fought back through the snow for the 200 yards back to my house and lo, there was a grill and lo, there was bread and lo, there was om noms.

Today is snow and pig day.

    That is all.

Morning, I've made it to uni despite the snow, set off at 7am and now it seems loads of people aren't coming in or are coming in later, meh.

    Roll on home time.

Also feel rather stupid in my red tartan wellies as theres not as much snow here.

the lack of snow should be the least of your concerns.
  • managed to make it to the office only 15 mins late. A day of sitting with my feet up on the desk drinking coffee is called for as sat up a bit too late last night playing the new Battlefield Bad Co 2 maps, but alas I have got a few jobs to clear first

    Morning y'all.

Ride in was sketchy as hell today, snow got quite deep here (over a foot in places), and all the roads were pretty much slush.. had 1 little off, into deep snow, which was pretty nice actually! The roads however, weren't so nice.

Hopefully most other people will be snowed in, so my day will be nice and quiet. Might go for a sausage & egg baguette in a minute once the boss has made my brew :D

It's deeper this morning. I'm flying out this afternoon, but can't get my car out so it's a taxi for me!

    Good Morning Freaks!

    Mat - that looks awesome!

We have a few flurries coming down at the moment, but nothing serious.

Well, after yesterday's trip to the Hospital, I apparently am still alive, but I have high blood pressure. :(

Today in the office, I shall mostly be blinding people, not with my awesomeness, but my Ultrafire torch that arrived yesterday, but I had to collect from the sorting office this morning on the way to work. First impressions are pretty good.

Going to have to organise something coffee and bacon related shortly though. Might have to stock-up due to the weather, just in case...

Morning all. Everyone in Stafford seems to have got used to the idea of snow - apart from a few mongs who simply cannot f*cking drive regardless of the conditions - and my commute was as serene as it could be with the Best Of Rammstein turned up to 11.

The working day has got off to a good start because I have already fixed a problem with our CEO's remote access by clicking on a few icons and pressing some keys on my keyboard. I let the problem escalate to crisis level before I got involved

The rest of the day will involve vast quantities of tea and biscuits. Have a good one.

Rammstein used to be my music of choice on the bike to work. Many times have cars been assailed by a very bad rendition of nebel.

Hmmm. Snow's getting heavier now. That's not good.

Morning all, snow is pathetic here, may take a walk to regents park later to see if there's a reasonable covering there.

No lectures today and my one lecture tomorrow has been cancelled because the lecturer went home to derbyshire yesterday and was snowed in this morning and thinks she'll probably be snowed in tomorrow too. Consequently today will be filled with revision, watching Harry Potter and anything else I feel like.

Morning, I'm at home because I don't work on Thursday. There is pretty much no snow here, it's like an inch of very compacted ice. I'm still looking for a permanent job!

No one shall be getting xmas presents this year unfortunately which makes me feel very bad :(

I remember putting an orange, a ball of string and some crayons in my son's stocking one Xmas as a comedy gift. Big mistake. Kids have long memories.
  • Morning all,

Only a little bit of snow here, side roads were a bit slippery but main roads were just wet. Half way to work, as I rode past a couple of girls walking along the pavement (don’t worry, I was on the road) I heard 1 of them say “How the hell is he riding in this?”. It made me chuckle, it was only wet really.

Put new chain on rat bike over the weekend and at the moment it’s skipping like a goodun on the smallest 3 gears on the cassette. Is this normal when fitting a new chain? Will it bed in?

Weather reports keep teasing me with snow for Saturday night, then changing it, I think they’re playing with my emotions. Really want proper snow this weekend so I can go for a snow ride, I’ll probably spend more time on my butt, but it’ll be fun.

    Is it 5 yet?
