After giving up on Motorcycle enduro and having to much fun pedaling these bike
I went to afew trail centers and hired some bikes, one was a Gaint Anthem X2
along with other bikes. and in the end brought a Cube Acid 2010.

I'm not a racer, but I like to churn out 2-3hr rides,
I love Cannock and Llandegla cycle parks.
Cube Acid 2010
Upgraded RockShox Reba RL Forks, twin air.
Updrade RockShox dropper seat post.
Went tubeless DIY style using a 20" BMX tube. Lasting well.

Very nice! Looks like you had a good ride with it already out in the snow. How much did it set you back?0

Good choice of bike (although I do rather like your old-skool ones). Also nice to see the first pics posted are of it are action shots rather than the "brand spanking new straight out of the box" ones.0

It set me back £610 Mountain Monster with 0%.
Thanks El Capitano, I rode the Falcon Everest last week at Cannock trail center and I think I upset some people on FS bikes when I over took them ascending some climbs. but I had to stop at the bottom of the descents to tighten the head stock
The Cube is much tighter than the other bike I own and it's like a whippet. :twisted:I'm not a racer, but I like to churn out 2-3hr rides,

It's ashame other people don't share the same responses as you. This was my first thread http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12738008 and I nearly gave up due to the warm welcome on this site due to "yeehaamcgee" I got the feeling that, if it didn't have Front Suspension or Full Suspension it was worthless. I know it's far from worthless. Is it was for this type of bike then there wouldn't be any other further improvements. ie Front or Full suspension bikes.I'm not a racer, but I like to churn out 2-3hr rides,
