£1400 Help me buy some road bike bling. Nanolight?

Got me a big birthday coming up. Thought I'd treat myself to something shiny.
Now I want to get the bike through Cyclescheme, so I'd be looking at online stores like planetx, which is why I've taken a shine to a nanolight

Recommended is 53cm, sounds small for me at 5' 8".
I expect any LBS can get bikes from the big manufacturers at list price.
Now I haven't got any particular plans but I'm tempted to do some time trialling, I do the odd sportive and long day ride. Is a nanolight too aggressive for a day in the saddle?
