have ordered a Commencal meta factory frame kit


The plan for the build is to take the rest of the parts off my gt

Should be quite nice when built up, looks like you've got a nice spec planned for it, and it's a lovely looking frame combo.

Is the frame carbon or?

5.5lb on the website but not sure what that includes


have ordered some ripwire gear cables in black and hope converters for my front hub

frame weights more like 7lb as far as i know, 5.5lb for a alu 140mm bike is a seriously ambitious claim

my new frames full carbon and weighs 6lbs

the website said 5.5lb with out shock so 7lb with shock would not be a bad shout

Do like the look of the Meta, nice to ride as well as the head angle is quite slack so it shifts downhill.

Ye 5.5lbs is a huge claim. My old Blur LTa medium weighed in at 6.8lbs ish and my Blur LTc in Large weighed in at 6.1lbs.

sorry to go off topic, but is your blur really 6.1lbs??? the complete bike weighs mid 25lbs??

the rear swingarm is like marmite
its the same as the northern monkeys i will be keeping the forks though
i should get the frame early next week but i cant build it as i working and at school

Took me ages to figure out how the chainstay protector fitted but make sure you do fit it!

ive got some bike tape so might use that instead
the seatpost id for sale in the classified

but im using the stem and handal bars cant wait to build it up and get riding
