Going up for my first visit on Sunday but a bit unsure of my way around. Plan is to do Lee then take the link bridleway up to Crag and then back again.
I have directions of how to get to Lee Quarry from a previous post (Just off the A681,you can park at the back off the kingfisher centre.I think the postcode is OL13 0BB.)
But where is start of the linking bridleway? is it signposted so we will see it clearly while doing the Lee loop?
Any idea how long this route would take?
Cheers

No it's not signposted yet.
From the car park head up the hill towards the quarry. Go through the gate then carry on up the hill until you can turn left. Go left and about 30m you will pick up the RED singletrack tech climb. Keep following the RED arrows until it takes you up a steepish climb right at the back of the quarry. When the climb plateaus off you will see a trail forking off to the left. Take this and you are on the new link route. Follow the track all the way to the dirt road at the top, turn right and keep going until you pass the reservoir on your right. On your left is the start of the RED trail around Cragg. Follow it round and it brings you to back to the start point so you can go round again or head for the amazing descent on the new link back to Lee. Have fun, here's a couple of pics from last sat.

I think you'd struggle to get up there, we've 4 to 6 inches of snow on the ground, more to come and it's drfiting. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
