hi guys will be commuting back and forth on said route.... obvious one being the canal... easy straight forward but does anyone know a good way that would throw in something worthwhile on my way to work???

    up over the mountain past the lamb, down through cwmcarn onto the canal there and down to malpas :wink::lol:

    Its a really easy ride there, you can either go pontypool to cwmbran along the canal or the cycle track and then link up and go the rest of the way on the canal. Not sure what opportunities there are for fun along the way though.

    However you'll be riding up the locks on the way back so not quite as easy.
