I've just bought a new Edge 500 and noticed a very slight rattle when I took the computer out of the box. It's not much but it's definitely there. I assume there should be no moving parts and no rattle at all but please can any owners out there confirm?

Many thanks

No, mine doesn't. Can't imagine what would be loose inside either, take it back for the shop to check? Good luck, they are excellent computers..

Has it got a screw loose?

Mines right infront of me and I just tested. Yup it does rattle. The rubber USB cover rattles a bit. pull it open and hold it with your finger and test again. no rattle. I think it's just the flap bumping around in the socket a little.

You want to explain to me how a rubber flaps 'rattles'?
  • Thanks guys. At the risk of looking stupid in the shop it's back to Evans with it tomorrow.
