Garmin Edge 800

Hi,
seriously considering one of these for Christmas. I do most of my riding from OS maps and the bike hike route planner (http://www.bikehike.co.uk/mapview.php) and often get very lost.
now, can the edge 800 display the planned route from a downloaded file (tcx, gpx, kml, txt) from that website? If not, is there any other way of displaying an OS map on the screen with the public rights of way?
I like the package of the Edge 800, and if it can either do turn by turn or just display my planed route, i think it will be the clinching deal for me

Yes it can display gpx / tcx etc, same as the 605/705 and do turn by turn or just display the route.0
