Figures obtained by the Standard found emergency services were called 13 times to Boris bike-related incidents in the first two months of the scheme. Which sounds pretty good compared to the 10 cyclists killed or injured on the capital's streets every day. ®
What awful statistics, there is a big different to being called out for what could be a minor injury up to a fatality!
Anyway, hadn't heard about this, thought there would be much more fuss in the news?0 -
Not sure how this will work - how do you choose the bike you want and return it if it is faulty?0

Same as the existing scheme but now open to occasional as well as regular users.
The bikes are standardised, pick one that works and pop it back in the rack when done.

Today oyu have a key - you put it in the rack and take a bike.
The credit card thing will be in the tower at teh side of the rack - so how do you release a particular bike?0 -
I ordered my key last week - do they normally take a week or so to turn up ?0
