Cable Outers

I've ended up with brake and gear cables but no outers...Which is a slight problem as I'm attempting my first build.
Is there anywhere which sells colored outers only (ideally yellow)??
Cheers

on ebay you can get a complete gear+brake set with yellow outers for under 25 quid including delivery, might be the simplest option, you can always keep the cables you have for spares

UK Bikestore sell outers only by the metre but they only come in black and grey. Not ideal but will still do the job.

I did see the Jagwire set. I was just reluctant to purchase, considering I didn't need the cables, but I guess your right...it's always useful to have spares knocking around.
Im considering getting the black outers that domhopson suggested and then spraying them yellow with a rubberised paint solution...but I thinking that's far too much effort0 -
Just noticed some jagwire housing on ebay which is pretty cheap. Sold by the metre...how much would I need 1 or 2m? (54cm frame).
Is there anything else I need to buy to install these cables? (currently working on my first build).0 -
The Jagwire kits are very good indeed - come with all the bits and pieces you need (all the end caps, cable ferrules, donuts etc.). Well worth the £25 or less.0

I've bought the Jagwire racer kits afew times off fleabay and paid around £20. TBH now I've used them I can't see any reason to use mote expensive cables, they work e actly as you would expect them to.
My only tip would be make sure you cut a decent sized length of loop at the rear mech.0 -
Whichever you end up getting, make sure you don't mix brake and gear casings: gear cable casing can fail without warning if used for brakes, unwittingly!0

err, don't try and paint black ones yellow unless you're trying to create some sort of thief deterrent by making the whole bike look 50p's worth - the paint won't stick and will peel/scrape off.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

depends on the frame, 2m of each would be safe, might be ok wih 1m of each
the advantage of buying the kit is that it will include the correct size ferrules etc. if you just buy outer on it's own you'll need to check sizes and get some separately, also things like cable end caps, and donuts
btw now is the time to decide if you want to fit any other colour-coordinated bits, like donuts...

+1..
If you do want your current cable outers to be yellow, go to rs components and buy a couple of metres of yellow shrink tube, slip it on and borrow a hot air paint gun and gently shrink it down, the trim where the ferrules start. Much neater.. Cost is negligible too..
