Last week I took possession of my Basso Astra frame and a set of Mavic Cosmic wheels. Everything has been droped off at the LBS for them to fit a SRAM Force groupset, carbon seat post, stem and bars. Basso's own brand of Microtech post, bars and stem can only be sourced through them but they never respond to e-mails, so I'm left with a choice of Cinelli or Pro for those items. Not sure yet whether I'm going to bother with the expense of carbon bars when the difference at my level will be unnoticable. Any thoughts on bar brands anyone?
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
