Forks and fitting?

In the future I may end up upgrading parts on my bike. I quite fancy carbon forks but I have no idea what will fit.
What do I need to know?
The spec of my bike is listed in this link:

Any help much appreciated.

the spec doesn't give sizes
chances are it's a 1 1/8" steerer tube raher than 1", but you can measure this easily enough if you take off the top cap from the steerer
to avoid changing the handling, you should choose a fork with the same rake/offset from the centre line to the wheen axle
then just pick a road fork, i suggest get one with an alloy steerer rather than carbon, easier to safely cut to length, also cheaper
as the bike is quite a basic spec. it could be more economic in the long run to look for a secondhand one with better frame and 9 or 10-speed shifters, otherwise you could end up spending a lot more to upgrade your current one - the cheapest carbon fork is going to set you back around 60-70 quidmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
I wouldn't bother changing the forks or doing any major upgrades, just put in the miles and enjoy riding it
Then as "sungod" said you might want to change to a better spec bike in the future when you know more about what you need.
Probably wotrth getting some decent puncture resistant tyres though, something like Conti GP400s they make a big difference to the ride.He is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0
