I just had some pretty saucy advert pop up at the top of the page for a internet gambling site. Is it just me?

Stick a topic in the BikeRadar Office bit, detailing what company the ad was for, the higher-ups will make sure it doesn't show up any more.

    What are you talking about?

The ad had topless women etc in.

I was complaining that **the plugin which the forum will not let me name** prevented my appreciation of the adverts.

That is quite an inventive use of the profanity filter

Maybe it's a clever ad which has tracked your recent viewing history, and has detected you might like what they're offering?

Maybe, but I am at work so can not access my usual favourites.

Maybe if you are signed in to google at both places your browsing history will be known when browsing at work?

there are a number of tools that allow you to access your favourites anywhere.

Portable apps is a good think it allows a mini PC on a flash drive. i actually run the Fire fox part at work directly.

Google add@ are targeted based on your browsing habits
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.

Several people on another site I was on had a similar problem.

The source was identified as being ads targeting their searches and sites visited. You are being watched
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.
