My girlfriend is asking me what I want for christmas for £60 to go with my other (smaller) presents and I have no idea what I want so I thought I'd mine your noodles for inspiration.
if you had £60 to buy yourself something nice what would be top of your wishlist?
so far my contenders are...
Gore Oxygen Thermo Jersey £63
or
Pinhead Locking Skewers, Seatpost, Stem & Fork - Four Pack £45
or maybe a pannier or some spd pedals or something else... argh i can't make my mind up

If it's a bike related present, something that is a single thing from her eg a nice saddle, some fancy bar tape, some shoes?
Myself, I'd have a sh1tload of Amazon vouchers, a couple of work shirts or maybe some shoes

Dont bother with pin heads if you've got shimano hubs.
Gloves and socks, bumper pack of inner tubes and cleats?0 -

is that because they don't work or they're not worth protecting?Hat + Beard0 -
you can get the wheels off in about 30 secs if you're running pinheads on shimano hubs and know what you're doing.
They're also not worth protecting0 -
£60? Nice bottle of wine. Have a day off from biking. Or two weeks like I have. Hic.0

I ride a black and silver tricross but I didn't ride in today and my route doesn't take me through e&c so it definitely wasn't me, must be an imposter.
my typical route is cannon street -> king william st -> tooley street ->jamaica road -> lower road -> creek road.Chiggy wrote:

Rapha, definitely, all the way.
I don't hate apple, I just get annoyed by people's slavish devotion to it when better options are available.0 -
