New pics of the Van Nicholas Mistral.
I have put the pro lites back on until planet x get the model b's in in polished silver. I have the brooks swift on and the leather bar tape.
The seatpost and clamp will eventually be ti too hopefully but because i'm far too impatient, ive put a cheap alu one on and the clamp from my mtb. (Mrs W wont know the difference)
Jagwire cable kit and Sram Rival remains. The look i want is a natural finish so eventually the black will go and it will be bare metal / leather / and white. Ill post more as and when things change.
Ive only mamaged one ride so far, feels great, but thats probably because its shiny and new! Hoping to get out tuesday morning so ill tell all then.

Will definitely update on the build. Hoping to strip the old bike this early next week and get this one riding. Anyone know how much a Rival group would be worth used? (2010 - few hundred miles) or would it be better breaking in to components?0

I find a good rule of thumb is to look on ebay at the completed listimgs [see link].
There you can see what actually does sell and for how much. Ones that sell the price is in green.
Out of interest is yours a compact chainset ? I must admit I wouldn't mind it but pretty short of cash at moment,
Cheers, Alan

What fork have you got on there?0

Its the standard fork that Fat Birds supply, I asked them this before i purchased and they said it is an Ambrosio fork.0

Very slow at the moment. Have decided to put the rival on for now. With black decals and forks aesthetically it will be fine and it runs really smooth. Ive managed to get the callipers on and thats it! A combination of night shifts and an 11 month old son have slowed me down.
Ive moved over the old alu bars, stem and seatpost as i was aeger to see the frame look like a bike.
Pic to follow....0
