Quite enjoy photography/videography, and would like to get a video camera for christmas.. To go straight to the point, main wants are HD 1080p/720p at 30fps/60fps, with a time lapse feature (although I can use can always use software to do that) and good 'futureproofness', so I dont have to upgrade when I get better.
There's more but forgot everything now
Can be used or new, anything from a SLR to compact for around £200.

Good call, anyone know if it has a tripod mount? But I think it may be a bit of a faff to work with off of the bike..0 -

It's not too bad to use off the bike either.

GoPro is definitely the way to go. Exceptional quality for the money, tough as boots and you can mount it to anything and everything!0
