As the title says, looking for some tights in roubaix or similar material, without a pad and without bib, for wearing under my shorts. Got some Alexa already with bib, but they can get a bit warm.

Also does anyone know where I can get derailleur limit screws cos mine are all chewed up and rusty. Seem to be a metric thread but the small head on them makes them a bit uncommon.

So you want to wear an unpadded tights UNDER your padded shorts ? Wouldnt it be better the other way round ? And for that you'd be better off with bibs.

Correct, no problems with comfort (25 yrs plus in saddle=hard ass :) ), plus looks so much better with tights under shorts.

I bought some of the DHB Pace a month or so back (unpadded, no bib) and have been wearing them under shorts. No issues at all with comfort and perfect for the sort of weather we've been having of late where a full on roubaix bib tight is just too warm.
    More problems but still living....

Thanks one and all - found some Lusso roubaix online, prefer them with foot loops to the dhb without.

Incorrect, the pad is designed to be worn next to the skin(that's a fact and not my opinion) so if you wear tights without a pad they go on top of the shorts.

But if you have proper cycling tights (like mine from DHB) they ARE designed to be worn next to the skin.

Thanks for that FACT CLX1. Maybe its my CHOICE to wear them how I want, and maybe that wasnt the original purpose of this thread, and maybe in the scheme of things it doesnt matter two f*cks which way round I wear them.

Here's a fact for you, I have no problems with them comfort-wise, and I've been doing this stuff long enough to know.

The very best of luck to you, you are quite right, you have every right to wear them exactly how you like. However that doesn't alter the fact that you are wrong and not wearing the items in the way they were designed to be worn.
