Very interesting article, for those with a bit of time to kill

In short, the article discusses how scientists are pretty much clueless to what physically makes some athletes very good and others not so, using Bolt as the main case study.

I'd assume the guy's premise is similarly applicable to cycling performances...

Casts some interesting light on the suggestions from certain quarters who suggest the best way to root out doping is to compare current cycling performances to the limit of human athletic capability...

  • I've not found the limits of my performance......or I hope I haven't
To err is human, but to make a real balls up takes a super computer.
  • Or appoint Chuck Norris as the new UCI doping official? Taking care of failed tests...personally.
    What wheels...? Wheelsmith.co.uk!

But he'd have nothing to do as if Chuck ran the joint, no one would be daft enough to dope
  • Interesting article, thanks for posting.
