Anyone placed an order for one of these and if so what timescale have you been given for delivery?

Comments

  • I enquired about these a few weeks back and the timescale for delivery was 'this year'.

However, there's no secure payment method on the website. Dumping cash in their bank account isn't exactly a professional approach.

They need to get a product out in the wild.

It's quite common in Germany though.

  • It doesn't matter if it's common in Germany, the problem remains:

    * No product exists beyond prototypes
    * They require full payment, a deposit would be more acceptable
    * You've no banking protection in the transaction

Beyond that, it all looks promising.

    This puts me off-

"power2max has been designed to measure your performance reliably in any weather condition. It is almost resistant to temperature fluctuations and virtually waterproof."

    Almost resistant to temp fluctuations?!?

    Virtually waterproof?!?

If it can be shown to be accurate and reliable then it sounds like a good product.

    So don't buy from them!

Hi, this is what they answered me:
hanks for your interest in power2max.

resistant to temperature fluctuations: power2max makes a zeroing every 30
seconds automatically, if the sensor is powerless. Additional we have a
temperature sensor for additional temperature compensation between kicking.
virtually waterproof: put power2max in water for 24 h, mount it again ... it
    will work.
We provide 2 years warranty for power2max.

    Best regards

    Your power2max-Team

    Now we are ok :-)
