Cassette size for sram red?

Will I be able to run an 11-28 cassette with a Sram red rear mech? Also, do I have the option of shimano cassettes with a sram chain, i've heard the sram chains are too abrasive for shimano cassettes? cheers, Rich.

    yes, there's an 11-28 red cassette, the red rear mech supports it

    never had a problem running sram chain on shimano cassette
    my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny
