Winter Brake Pads

Hi,
Over the past few days with wet weather and muddy conditions ive been really struggling with braking and stopping distance. Im currently using organic/resin disc brake pads but for these winter conditions would sintered pads be best or is it worth trying the kevlar compound from Superstar?
