Ebay sellers & misrepresentation

I was browsing through ebay and found this Orange Gringo. The seller states that it is a 2005 model but it is clearly a 1999 bike . The reason I know it is a 1999 is because I nearly bought one new but opted for the Evo2 instead. So quite a bit older than the seller is claiming.
So an unknowledgeable buyer may believe they are buying a 5 year old bike, when in fact it is 11 years old!
Is this a case of misrepresentation?
Another Interesting fact is that the seller thinks it is worth £500.

Not just ebay, the local BMW dealer is doing the same thing, vastly over inflating the value of his wares.Northwind wrote: It's like I covered it in superglue and rode it through ebay.0

Welcome to any dealer, not just your local BMW.
As far as the bike, i'm with everyone, tell him. He may not actually know he is misinformed as not everyone know how every model of every bike of every years looks. Possibly just going to be a case of he didn't know better.0
