Whats everyones thoughts on this bike...

Steel frame, Shimano 105 for £1299.

I'm seroiusly close to buying it. But would the frame be good enough for future upgrading....

A friend has one she loves it. Depends what you want to do on it.

Will be using it for pretty much everything. Commuting, weekend trips maybe an eventuall fantasy alps trip!

They look gorgeous but i can't help wondering if id be better off with a caad 10 or something simalar....

I would say the Genesis is better for hanging stuff on for the commute/tour/etc. CAAD more race/sportive oriented IMHO.
