Converting a centrelock hub to use a 6 bolt rotor

Right, the dilemma...
Want to get superstar hubs in gold, but the rear is out of stock and will be for a while.
So the options are:
Waiting for them to come back in to stock which could be loooooooooong,
Buying a superstar/hope front hub in gold and getting a rear XT,
Or getting front and rear XT.
Not too keen on the 2nd option as I think having odd coloured hubs might look a bit funky, so the front and rear XT hubs is looking like the winner.....
However, I have a 20mm maxle so need to get the 20mm hub, which only comes in the centrelock version. And as I have a 203mm hope floating rotor, I dont want to swap rotors. I've seen the converters you can get, but they say 200mm is the max size, and someone somewhere said hope floating rotors are too thick for the converters. Has anybody done this before or know if it can be done?
