Today's Discussion (with Poll) - Tea or Coffee?

As it says above, what's your prefered drink?
Had to say for me, I don't function in the morning until I've had a couple of mugs of tea, but then proceed to drink coffee (Grande Latte from Cafe Nerro's) throughout the day. I'll have a few mugs of tea when I get home and a coffee before bed.

Tea, purely due to the fact that I don't like coffee.
Good cup of tea in the morning really does wake you up good and proper.0 -
Tea for me with a packet of choc Hob Nobs or a couple of Kit-Kat Chunkies nom nom nom...
I like caffeine in energy drinks but if I drink coffee without excercising I am still bouncing off the walls 8 hours later.0 -
Coffee - love it, but only decent stuff - no instant (sorry, I know that's a bit snobby)
Don't mind tea, but could easily live without, without coffee my Iife would be troubled.Santa Cruz Chameleon

I don't usually drink any but if I had to pick I would choose coffee just because it tastes nicer.0

Depends on your reason really! I don't drink instant, because it tastes grim. If they made an instant coffee which tasted like coffee, I'd drink it. If you're not drinking it just to be snobby, then yeah, it's a bit snobby0 -
Tea all the way. Absolutely hate the smell of coffee. But of course, no milk in my tea, drink it pure.0
-
i drink neither, but a good hot choc with 6sugars, whipped cream, marshmallows and choc sauce0
-
Both! I do drink more tea at home solely because most instant coffee sucks
I do like a good kickazz coffee (usually a large skinny cappuccino + extra shot or two) from the coffee outlets, especially when I'm doing a long drive.
I voted tea because it's what I mainly drink in the way of hot beverages0 -

Good point, it is only a taste thing, If I found one that tasted as good I would drink it.Santa Cruz Chameleon

I dislike tea, so it's coffee. Thick, black and strong coffee. Can't stand milk in it. <shudders> Eurgh.0

This poll lacks a "bacons" option.
Also, I drink both. Coffee at work, tea at home, bacons at both
I also had a starbucks coffee when on the Ferry last month and it was the most awesome drink I've ever had! Just a shame that as a rule, I hate Starbucks.0 -
Tea gets my vote, can't live without the stuff.
So much so, that (although a little mincey and pricey) I've just spent $120 on some tea from these lovely people:

Some of it is for the missus for xmas as well though, but still works out to about £2 a cup.. :shock:0 -
This is like having two children and being asked witch you want to get rid of, but in this case for me i want to keep them both0

I only started drinking hot drinks (coffee) since i started this job 4 years ago, you cant go to see a customer and say "oh yes i will have a drink, it will be a Orange squash please" so for the first few months of this job i was easily spotted as i was the one shaking, sweating and genrally bouncing off the walls.
the only downside of drinking coffee all week is when you do have a redbull type affair is that its less effective on me now0 -

And why not? or you could just ask for water?0 -

Love my fresh ground coffee but if it's instant then got to be Douwe Egberts Continental. Saying all that you can't beat a good cup of Tetleys tea.0

tea in the house, but I do love a skimmed milk latte and a skinny stem ginger muffin from Starbucks on occasion0

Coffee edges it for me - gets me started at work in the morning (bowels included...) and a really good coffee is bliss. Usually prefer tea at home for some reason though, not sure why?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

I drink far too much rubbish instant coffee. I wish I preffered tea as I would guess its less bad for you. My absolute favourite is an americano from Caffe Nero. Not fond of frothy milk based limpwristed lattes & crappucinos.0
