just dont seem to be getting enough sleep at the moment, No2 child is waking 2-3 times a night and most of the time its not me getting up, but i still wake. Grr. more gin needed i think?

it turns out my dog has a sense of humor, my wife calls hime over to give him a cuddle before going to bed, by patting her thigh and and saying come and sit down, so he does just that.

I've just been given the news that Saturday, which I'd booked off I now have to work as there's too many people off sick, which has royally effed up mrs Gs plans for my birthday and my plans for our anniversary. I'm now texting round everyone that's off to see if they fancy working it. I'm not holding out much hope mind

I'll do it. Can't be that hard driving a train - it's not like you have to stear it or anything. I've spent years playing with my Hornby and Graham Farrish stuff, so should be more than qualified. :D

    Meanwhile...

    Good Morning Freaks!

Another day that's slowly sliding into the meh region. To counter this, I'm eating 2 of Morrison's finest Snake & pigmy pies for breakfast.

Coffee Minion will be dispatched shortly.

Went 'jogging' for the first time in ages last night, legs are a bit stiff this morning. Need to work on this over the winter. Also need to sort out the exercise bike so I can get a bit more riding done in this crappy weather.
  • Hmm sore thraot today after the Dentist yesterday.

but i feel positive today :s

    Morning all!

Today is full of meh after World War 3 last night. I managed to find a decent bike for the little one only to be told under pain of death that I'm not allowed to buy it as the outlaws have purchased a 'Hello Kitty' piece of shoot from Halfords, this will no doubt start to rust as fast as the 'Barbie' one they bought the eldest.
This was all followed up by said youngest and eldest taking it in turns to wake up with various achey legs, coughs, sneezes and other ailments between 2 and 5.30 am. Having cycled 20 miles off road and 40 miles on the rollers, plus a full days work I am totally shattered.

The 2 pints of filter coffee and bacon sandwich so far consumed are just starting to break through the haze.

Sounds like a poor mans excuse for a 335d which, as everyone with half a brain cell knows, is the pinnacle of diesel motoring.

Just left your mum and she says she's too knackered to cook now so you can have pizza for tea.

Afternoon, not been up long. Should be in uni today but still recovering from my stomach bug and rather delicate. Got my dairy free advent calendar in the post which has cheered me up, and a letter from one of the kids parents who we took to Florida saying Thank you, which has also cheered me up.

Now to watch tv for the rest of the day.

Thanks for that. Was beginning to feel a bit upset. Not coming back with the standard response is a little like leaving someone hanging with a high-5 or bro-fist.
