Hi!
I'm looking for a BMX for about £350. It must be all chromoly. I don't know much about BMXs and was a bit overwhelmed with choices and brands I've not heard of.
Some recommendations and links would be nice.
Thanks
Rob

I'm new to BMX and didn't know where to post. Also I don't see a BMX buyers advice heading anywhere.
One of my fave things about MTB is that usually people are always willing to help. You had to be the odd exception....0 -
You will struggle to get anything full cro-mo for £350, add another £100 or so & it's possible (but limited to a few bikes only).

Either that or buy a make that other BMX'ers will laugh at like a Diamond Back or a GT

You could 'hang with the kidz' at your local park because they swap bikes and parts more often than I change my socks, or you could buy a frame and build it up with workmanlike parts and upgrade later on. I got a Subrosa Alameda frame from Alan's last year along with some basic cranks, bb, headset and a few other odds and sods I don't think there was much change out of £200 but I threw on some inexpensive wheels/bars/stem etc and that was it. I reckon anyone could do the same for less than £350.
BMX components fit together like Lego, it really is child's play and of course you won't need any brakes0
