I'm looking to put together a 'First Aid Kit' fopr my bike. I usially take a tube, levers and a pump but am thinking after taking my chain off to clean it the other day, that I should be taking more kit. These multi tool things have always seemed to be a pain to use.
But what to take?
An alan key tool would be good, maybe a snap link?
I'm sure that I've missed a thread on this at some point.

Topeak multitool, easy to use, choose one with link extractor. Power link, plus tubes, levers, pump. I take some workshop gloves also, thin elasticated cotton with rubbery bits on palms and fingers. They roll up really small, and you dont get your hands covered in sh1t when changing tube etc. Also give good grip for rolling on tight fitting tyres.
Also have some Park tool self adhesive repair patches which come in a little plastic box, just in case I have a bad day. All fits in small bag under saddle.0 -
