edited November 2010 in The bottom bracket
There was a piece of music played in Tuesdays It takes two as Patsy Kensit and her dance partner were about to come on the show. The music was a song in the charts about 7 or 8 years ago, sounds a bit Avalanches or Polyphonic spree and has a woman singing, very melodic almost gospelish. Desperate to find out what this song is and nab it off itunes, have been trying to remember what it is called for years, anyone help at all, please ? :D

    It'll be on iPlayer?

Not at home so can't watch it but someone will surely help?

Failing that, iPlayer it and use http://www.shazam.com/

    Its Les Fleur by 4hero.

Often played as a snippets in ads and segways such as SCGITT, just listened to the whole thing on spotify and takes a while to get to the memorable bit with the girl singing.

So it is. I have the Minnie Ripperton version on a ScratchPerverts mix. Or is it the 4Hero version? Can't remember cos they're pretty identical anyway. :?

It's Les Fleur and the original is the one you probably want, by Minnie Riperton

OH god hope I don't see that skanky harlot swinging around on the dance floor, I'll probably throw up or something ....
