Anyone with any experience of Spot Bikes?
http://spotbrand.com/bikes/product-page/sprawl/
for example has belt drive, disc brakes, Alfine hub

Rival to a Pompino or Trek District for those that like that sort of thing?

I was looking at them when I picked my Civia Bryant.

I picked the Civia instead because the Spots didn't come in the alfine / disc / belt combination I wanted and because I'm not made of money.

$3200 (plus tax and duty) compared to $1600 for my Civia and £1000 for a Popetamine or Alfrat.

You'll absolutely love the belt drive, it's a zen-ly wonderful way to power a bike.
FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
    Litespeed L3 for Strava bits

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Yeah, I'm tempted to make use of next year's Cycle2Work to move from fixed Langster to fixed belt drive

    They'll be doing CVT next.
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.
