First Road Bike

Hello !

I have been riding my Brompton S2L for quite a bit now to work and just generally about and im loving it!
I want a proper road bike though to go about on so does anyone have any ideas on what bike?
Under 700 would be ideal for my first.

    Go find a few LBS in your area and see what they can do for you at this time of year you should be seeing some good deals on 2010 bikes that they want out of the way to make way for 2011 stock.

    Dont just look at one brand as they are all slightly differnet in how they ride, the geometry and they kit they come fitted with. Plus a good shop should listen to what you want from the bike and what type of riding you are going to be doing and should measure you properly (not just a quick look at you and say that one there will fit) and let you test it out.
    Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

    TREK 1.5 2010. Excellent fir timer and you'll get it for around the £700 mark.
