Running Vittoria Rubino Pro on my winter bike which are awesome compared to the Zaffiro's which came with the bike.
Need to upgrade my best bike too as it also came with Zaffiro's and thinking of a step up from the Rubino's.
Diamante or Corsa any good? Or should I be looking at other brands (Michelin Pro Race 3)?

I swear by GP4000S, especially after running Krylions for a few weeks and ending up with one puncture and one shredded rear, did thousands of miles on GP4000S without an issue.0

There's been a trillion threads on this - everyone recommends the tyres that they use and like. All the ones mentioned above have their fans.
Only extra dimension you should consider is where you live. Some areas have lots of flints and or thorns and people have lots of punctures. Other areas have neither and people have very few punctures.
For instance, some people who ride elsewhere report Michelin Pro Race 3s puncture and cut up really quickly. I ride in Yorkshire Dales where the punctures are few (tempting fate like this will have repercussions I'm sure) and I find the same tyres last really well and roll superbly.
I reckon all 'what tyre' threads should be answered locally. Where do you ride?0 -
North Essex - Chelmsford and surrounding areas.
I am keen on something a bit snazzy but not if it means loads of punctures!Cervelo P3

Chelmsford is fine for riding, you don't need anything special but as already stated riders will recommend what they know and use.
PR3s for me or for winter riding Michelin krylion carbons. Done a few winters in Essex with those and they've been fine.0 -
Schwalbe Utremo R1
Fortezza Tricomp
Pro Race 3
Conti Attack / Force or GP4000S
Open Corsa Evo's
All range topping type, soft and sticky race tyres in no particular order.
All have their advocates, and all have their detractors. I'd be happy with any of them, but ride attack/force.0 -
