Hi,
I was wondering what the best tactics were for using this stuff. Do you cover every inch of the frame or just the underside of the downtube and stays?
Cheers
Andy

Iv used a similar product. i used it on a hardtail, on the seatube, on top of the downtube as that was most visible. And on the top tube where the cables where. The bottom of the downtube did scrarch a bit without it, so unless u have cables there, i would protect it. Also anywhere where cables are going to rub, or anywhere where bike racks might come in contact with muddy bikes and scratch it. On my new bike im putting it all over the swingarm both inside and out. From when i was putting my wheel on the disk scrached some of the inside. Also by the cranks where the chain might come off. But if your not as bothered about scratches as i am, then just the downtubes and toptubes and cable rub areas.
Hope this helps.0 -
For me you are always gonna get a few scratches it shows a used bike. I have used copter tape but only on the underside down tube, fork legs etc places that will get scuffed when your bike goes down or get hammered by crap being thrown from your wheels.0

Downtube, chain stay (after rmoving the rubbish original) and where cables rub, doing a full bar swing and fork compression (min preload) to look for 'oddities'.
