Kids MTB clothing

Me and my lad are planning on doing some biking at Coed-y-brenin this weekend and as its cold I want to get some cold weather MTB gear for him - can I find any - NO!

The stuff on line is all shorts and short sleeved t-shirts.

Any one know where is best to buy kids MTB clothing?

My 8 year old has a very nice pair of 661 DH trousers which he loves, as well as some pretty good Polaris baggies. I have no idea where you get these from as we inherited them... but it is a start for an internet search!

Decathlon do a good range - if there is one near enough or that delivers to you. Check out their winter running gear for juniors as well as the cycling gear.

Layer up, good thermals, fleece and shell layer, and keep him moving and he'll be fine.
Don't overdo the distance, shorter course, more laps, rather than getting stuck 10 miles
from the car, with your lad in a shivering, snotty whinge-a-thon!
