I'm off to Tenerife for December.

I've been in touch with Lavatrax and will probably do a few trips with them but wonder if there are any other options.

Anyone know of any other Tour Organisers or easy to get to Routes or have any ideas of where to ride without a guide - it becomes very expensive at around £45 per day! I will be staying somewhere near Los Cristianos where I can take the ferry to La Gomera.

Anyone have any information on mountain biking on La Gomera?

    i wouldn't bother with going to la gomera unless it's just sight seeing. i lived in tenerife for 3 years and never heard of any good riding there. you have tenerife bike park which you could go to on your own:

    but other than that lavatrax is probably your best bet. a lot of the trails are in nationalk park land and riding is not allowed in there and the rangers get pretty narky if they catch you!!

    on a non-riding note, make sure you get to siam water park...it's amazing
