I'm never going to complain about muddy 'cross courses again...
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Epic stuff - the muddier it gets, the better Nys seems to go

Was a great race. Nys, as well as being a great athlete, was smart enough to try & take it easy for the first half of the race. World Champ Stybar was trying to ride too much & paid the price.

Klaas Vantournout is always a fantastic runner thanks probably to his long legs & was unlucky not to win I thought.

Should be very muddy again this weekend in Gavere.

It will be shown (as per all Super Prestige rounds) live on www.vt4.be I believe, if you are interested
  • Stybar was injured and therefore not on top form.

Never understood cross myself. Fun yes, real sport less so. More like a dirty obstacle course, but I would certainly think it would be a good atmosphere.

Looks like a proper sport to me.......

I would class some sort of weird 'sex gauntlet' as a dirty obstacle course, not cross

Stybar was complaing about his knee after the race but I heard his back (injury) was OK after his visit to a dutch osteopath.....

I don't know why the spectator with the Freddie Mercury moustache is also balancing an egg on his head :)
