I have some 120mm SR Suntour XCRs lying around after taking them off my GT. They are going to be fitted to the apollo project until the money can be found to buy something better. The problem is as they are long for 120mm forks (510mm axle to crown) they are a bit too long for the apollo. I have some 1cm spacers lying around for some rockshox revelations, and was wondering whether these can be fitted to shorten the suntours???

No, I doubt it, odds are they have completely different internals, especially since they are coil forks.

You could simply cut the springs down.

If you wanted to do a proper job you would also subsequently heat the end coil where you have cut, to cherry red (gas cooker fine), collapse it, and then grind the face flat, just like the factory termination.
