Anybody had one of these? I'm off for one tomorrow and in my letter it says they numb the leg and you cant drive for a while but I have to drive to hospital as I cant get there any other way. Is the numb leg long lasting?

    Can't someone else drive? Taxi?

I've no idea what an Arthrogram is, so no help there.

  • Could be a taxi, going to be about £50 for one I think!!! Ah well. No other person available to drive me. Wife can't drive in this country, family, friends live miles away. I cant seem to find anything on t'internet about leg numbing when having one so bit confused there.

Might be worth trying to ask a favour for a friend or a family member.

Phone the MRI department. Someone there will be able to tell you how long before you can drive.
    More problems but still living....
  • I can't for the life of me get a number for the mri dept!!! Good call on the NHS Direct number, thanks for that.

If no luck I'll just sit in the car till it comes back to life. At least the NHS will make some money out of me on the car parking charge
