  • No gen on the website but the usual methodology is axle out, allowing access to an allen bolt that holds the freehub on.

  • Ahh so the same as the Shimano then. Only taken off the wheel so far will remove the axle later. The free hub itself becomes a little sticky when left for a week or so so I am hoping for a wash out in parrafin and and a oiling with thick grade oil may increase the life a little more. If that dosen't work then simply a new one.

  • Yes 12mm allen key. Remove hollow allen head bolt fron the disc side first then hub useing 12mm allen key from hub side, basically screwed in then locked up from the opposite side.

things are always simple when you start taking things to bits.

its the reassembly that can be fun.

sounds just like the spin Doc way. exect for they has an 11mm key.

  • Damm knew there was somthng that I would just drop on (lol) I think it may be a little easier to put back togather because now I know the order in which to put back. I have washed it out as best I can left it to dry overnight and now have chain wetlube soaking through it. Bit of Silicon grease to seal of the one end.
