FFS I just edited a post (Title) in the classifieds from 'MIGHT' be for sale to 'IS' for sale and a jobsworth keeps deleting my replys saying how the bike is now for sale and not MIGHT be for sale. The only reason I replied to my own post was after the Title edit it did show in the latest posts so nobody would really see it

they're a strange bunch, the mods on here. They will leave threads to rot in the wrong forum by claiming that they have to be notified first before they can move it - but they all seem to be queuing up to jump on the slightest errors in other forums.
I guess Bikeradar policy is to blame.....0 -

Why didn't you just post it for sale? At any time you could have withdrawn it from sale.

So - if no one was interested you wouldn't post it? And if someone was interested you would post it?
But you didn't want to post it for sale unless someone was interested - but you couldn't just post it for sale because you might decide NOT to sell it and then you'd have to turn down a buyer? Sh!t or get off the pot.

If it's in one of the areas we come across in our normal browsing (we're all normal members who just happen to have extra buttons), we'll move/delete it of our own volition. If not, we need you to tell us about it, otherwise we just won't see it... If you're really unhappy about the handling of your free of charge classified/think I want to see it thread, you could always pony up some dough and sell it on ebay.
Granted, the mods/admin don't always get it right, but being human this is to be expected and seeing as they offer their services foc I think they do a marvellous job.
If I were admin faced with some of the dime bars on here, I'd patrol the forum with a shotgun rather than a delete button............0
