Hi all,
Choosing a ribble road bike (CF Sportive), with SRAM Rival or Shimano 105.
Question is, which of these wheels are the ones to go for?? Or is there not really much difference?
ITM Aero 2.4
Shimano RS20 Clincher
Pro-Lite Como Clincher
Thanks!!

I've got two pairs of Como clinchers. I've time trialled on them but use them mainly for training or as warm-up wheels. They are a tad heavy but well built and I've had no problems over 3 years. BTW you can get them cheaper from Quest Bikes.
The Shimano wheels are also good - I've had no problems with these either. Dunno about the ITM.0 -
Ribble were selling Pro Lite Bracchiano for a bargain price a while back (about £175 I think). They have had v good reviews...Do not write below this line. Office use only.0

Thanks. It not too much money to upgrade the wheels when buying with the bike, but its hard to tell what the differences are! Is it just a case of lighter is better? Would the hubs remain the same?0

Wheel upgrades are the 1st upgrades to make. Lighter is better and they say that every gramme saved on the wheels is equivalent to 3-4 grammes (or something) elsewhere (rolling weight). Also the better the wheel the stiffer they tend to be. I upgraded to RS80 wheels on my good bike a while back and I can really feel that they are stiffer and more responsive.Do not write below this line. Office use only.0
