Just a heads up for anyone looking for some good, affordable accommodation that's right on the doorstep of some fantastic riding, then take a look at

Five club members went last June for a weeks cycling and it really was so good that ten of us are booked to return next June.

Roger the owner of the gites is an ex semi-pro and was a fantastic guide, it was great not having to worry about which routes to take each day and he was good company.

The gites are comfortable and situated in a lovely french town but the best part is the Vercors themselves, if you are looking for some amazing climbs and stunning scenery then this area really should be considered.
We do a day trip to ride Alpe d'huez whilst there since its only an hours drive away.

Four or five people in a Gite for seven days cost around £120 each which is great value.
I spent a lot of time last year researching where we could go and luckily I found this place.
