Have been trying to get hold of a spindle removing tool for my SPDs for weeks. One shop said (paraphrases) they're rare as hens teeth, have you tried the internet?! The next one (actually my LBS and normally v good) recommended just binning the pedals every year or so since they're so cheap!
Happened to be passing through Newcastle and popped into Ride for a new chain tool, having lost the pin from my old one. Mentioned the spindle remover..... which they ordered the next Monday. It arrived two days later and I've just picked it up.
