Gore brake and gear cable sets - Professional vs standard

Morning All

Just a quick one - I was just wondering if anyone knew exactly what differences there are between the standard Gore Ride on Low Friction gear (and brake) cable sets http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=24808 and the Professional versions of the same (which are a tenner more expensive) http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=58203

Are there serious differences that really are worthwhile having or is it just a case of "slap professional on the box and add a tenner"?

Thankyou very much.

Well as you probably know they do four different types. The low friction system is specific for road riding, the Extra Long Sealed Low Friction System for off road riding and are longer cables, the Sealed Low Friction System again for mtbs which get very dirty and the Professional for road riding or racing.

The Professional system is probably sealed better and has extra long ferrules and GRUB seals, whatever they are. You could get away with the cheaper one I'm sure, but as I don't have these, but someone on here possibly has and could tell you better.

    Good review here
