Well this is the campaigning forum, so I posted a link to an interesting campaigning video.
Spen666, try cracking a smile once in a while. Go on, you know you want to.
and?
The relevance of the title to this thread?
What is different in this video from that which UK cyclists face. apart from the fact the traffic is on the other side of the road?
Also, it may have escaped your notice, this is an English language forum whereas the you tube clip is notWant to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

Misery?
All i've done is ask WTF this post is about
What is the relevance of the title of this thread?
What is the relevance of a clip in a foreign language showing nothing different to which we see on English roads every day?
As I have asked before, what is the relevance of this thread title?Want to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

Well all I can gather from that clip is that French drivers are more considerate than British ones.
Nearly every vehicle parked in the cycle lanes has left a small gap for cyclists to pass.
In England, nearly every driver that parks in a cycle lane blocks the cycle lane and the pavement!0 -

They are causing no problems though as every cyclist in Britain uses the pavement - well thats what the comments to all the newspaper articles on line state.
Mind you, how does that reconcile with the same comments claiming cyclists ignore red lights at crossings andf nearly mow down pedestrians crossing the road?Want to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

That's the best approach really. He's such a tosser, really, this site would be miles better without him.0 -

And your razor sharp intellectual posts such as this enhance the board?
If you think throwing personal abuse at anyone who disagrees with you makes the board miles better, rather than debating the issues in hand, then I personally pity you.Want to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

Well Spen666 you haven't exactly moved the debate forward have you? All you have done is attack the op and added no positive comment - so maybe your's is a case of the pot calling the kettle grimey bottom.0

I'd love to move the debate forward, but I have not got a clue what the OP is trying to say.
A thread entitled "And UK cyclists think they have it bad..." and posts a video of cycling in a foreign country which seems to show nothing different to what happens in the UK
I have asked and others have commented to this effect
Pray tell how to take forward an opening post that doesn't seem to make a point.Want to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

Well, I can't see that's it's worse or better than here. Same happens here regularly.
It does tarnish Frances' cycling friendly reputation somewhat, though.0 -
spen66 doesn't argue - he batters you with his opinion. I've never seen him admit it when he's wrong, even though he often is.0

All you seem to post on here is attacks at me- ones which do not stand up to scrutiny
You claim I am often wrong- so back that up with some proof - where am I wrong, lets have some evidence to back your claims up.Want to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

Buppy you joined BR on 10/11/2010 so have been a member of this forum for 11 days unless you have another identity? I smell a troll.
Spen666 joined in 2003. How can you possibly claim in such a short period "I've never seen him (Spen666) admit it when he's wrong, even though he often is."?
Spen666 is Spen666. He may be a fervant Royalist, but he does have a point, what is the purpose of the OP? It is a montage of cycling in Paris over 1 year. I should imagine pretty much the same thing could be done for London. Much the same issues that affect cyclists in London seem to affect those in Paris.Life is like a roll of toilet paper; long and useful, but always ends at the wrong moment. Anon.
Think how stupid the average person is.......
half of them are even more stupid than you first thought.0
