Help finding a route

Hi everyone, I am relatively new to road cycling and I have been asked by a friend if I could plan a route from Anfield, Liverpool to Hilsborough, Sheffield for a charity ride next year. I have been on Google maps but was wondering if anyone has any good ideas as to the best way to go about doing this.

try ride by gps, its great for routes as it gives detailed route
