Any Bathonians care to fill me in on what happens in Bath of a Saturday night these days?

About a decade since I went out that way. Used to drink in The Porter, Crystal Palace, Salamander, The Raven, The Bell...and end up Moles / T's (under Pulteney bridge).

Looking to avoid places that attract rugby players, trendy trendy types and hordes of students...

    I've heard it's a bit of a washout.

It's certainly full of Scrubbers. At least I hope it still is.

Stag/hen nights are what happens in Bath on a Saturday, mixed with rugger buggers if the egg chasers are at home.

Those pubs are all still good, except the Crystal Palace which never was. I don't stay out after closing time but most of Bath's clubs are crap. That one under Pultney Bridge is rough.

Try the Weatherspoons by Kingsmead Square.

Let us know if you make it out alive.
  • Start in the Metropolitan on James street west, then to Wetherspoons, then on to The Lamb and Lion then Vodka Revolutions and finish up in club XL (formerly known as Cadillacs)

Slags and fights galore 8) :D

Or just go to Moles, went there the other day though and it has changed. You no longer have to qeue on the main road and they tried to charge a tenner entrance, b0llox to that for a sweaty dive full of druggies lol.

I went to Bath Uni from 93 til 96. Used to love The Bell, and go to the Hat and Feather to purchase my medicine from time to time  I seem to remember that The Bell had a cycling cap on display that had been worn by Miguel Indurain. Haven't been for years though.
Look out kid, they keep it all hid
  • Yeah the Bell's still good. the Salamander too. All Back To Mine, which is about a two minute stroll from the top of Milsom Street is probably the best club in town to be honest.
Let's close our eyes and see what happens
