  • yep, been out with them a couple of times and their nice guys who know their stuff.

the riding round that kneck of the woods is awesome, everything from smooth flowy to scarily steep & technical. the big plusses of TA is they guide you and the guides know their stuff, with most of them having done many seasons in the area. they also split you into abilty groups, so your riding the type of stuff you want.

quick tip for you, go for the goat shed for the accomdation, cheaper and Gordys food is awesome

I was out with Trail Addiction this year. I can heartily reccomend them. We were in the eagles nest Great food the guides themselves are brilliant and most importantly the riding is absoloutley awesome. just brilliant singletrack, and cracking techy sections. Probably the hardest but also best riding I've ever done. Full face and knee pads definately, I also wore an armoured jacket which is worth it if you have one. We didn't spend that much all the food is covered bar one night so it's mostly beer money. Regarding travel we drove over this year, but if you are flying out based on previous experience with the Alps go to your LBS and get a Cardboard bikebox take off your pedals bars and rotors and pack well. Also let the air out of your tyres and air shocks.
  • thanks to everyone for the replys. def gonna book up with them just gotta decide wether to fly or drive. take plenty of spares etc if we drive but arrived knackered after a 10hr drive. flying means buying a bike bag & packing lite + ive seen vids of how they throw them about. only two of us this time (others doing the mega)
