Met Stradivarius UL?

I need a helmet that I can fit a winter hat under and I know that Met helmets fit my head. However I want a small looking helmet and find the Inferno looks too bulky. Is the Stradivarius any better? I quite like the look of it as helmets go.
I have tried Giro and the M is too small and the L is too big.
The other option is to take the pads out of the WHISPER+

    I can get a cotton cap or a woollen winter hat under my catlike whisper without taking the padding out.
