Had my 1st proper crash last night.

Was out with the club for training doing through and offs, took my turn on the front and had a great lap. Peeled of and onto the back, as we cross the start line the guy 2 bikes in front suddenly hits the deck and the two of us behind are kissing tarmac.

Landed square on my right hip, have cuts to my knee and road rash up to my hip. I've bruised 1 or more ribs and smashed my helmet.

Turns out the front calliper of the 1st guy sheared of and went into his wheel. Luckily we went down right outside the ambulance station because he landed square on his face hard.

Cant walk today and it hurts to breath, am off work the rest of the week and no riding this weekend.

Bike is ok i think, need to inspect the fork for damage when i can bend again :(

And i was just starting to see an improvement in my fitness too

hes ok, just a few stitches in his brow. No major damage done to anyone thankfully.

Must have looked impressive to the group behind us. Dont know who was more shocked us 3 or the guy walking his dog who we crashed right in front of.

Bet he had a good story to tell the missus
